Our Academy

We have two academies, one for boys and girls and one for girls only.

How do you join the Academy?

If it is your first time attending, you can just turn up before the Academy starts. New boys and girls are always welcome.

When is the Academy?

Rosemount Mulvey FC's Academy runs every:

Saturday from 10am to 11am for boys and girls
Sunday from 10am to 11pm for girls.

Keep an eye on our social media sites as the academy is weather permitting.

How much does it cost?

It costs €5 each time your child attends. In other words; pay as you go!

A payment of €5 on Saturday will cover Sunday for a girl who wishes to attend both days.

What happens at the Academy?

Your child will be taught by our Academy coaches:

Ball mastery
Dribbling
1v1, 2v2, 3v3
Passing
Control
Body position
Shooting
Movement
Attacking
Defending.

Our four-year-old section stays in their group for the hour. All other age groups will move every 12 minutes to a new section to work on a new drill or skill.

(Our Girl's Academy is smaller and therefore has a differnt format)

This Academy structure will improve your child's skills set for when they start playing games in a team format.

Child safeguarding

Rosemount Mulvey Football Club (RMFC) is committed to safeguarding children by working under the guidance of our safeguarding policies and procedures.

Our staff, both volunteers and employed, working with our children seek to create a safe and fun environment for children to participate in their sport
