Rosemount Mulvey Football Club (RMFC) is a community-based club with over 50 years of history. We provide recreational and competitive football to the local area through our:
- Academy
- Schoolboys and Girls teams
- Senior women team
- Senior men team
- Five-a-side (every Sunday).
We are a club who has a ethos of welcoming all, no matter what their ability. We are well organised in all areas and compliant to our codes of practice. This has contributed to our growing success and is secured by our volunteers, who play an invaluable role in football at all levels as well as the management and administration of the club.
This is all shown by the fact we have been awarded Entry Level Club Mark and One Star Award Club Mark. The Football Association of Ireland (FAI) has a key role to play in facilitating club development by identifying and promoting best practice and providing the necessary guidance to empower clubs. The FAI Club Mark is an award based on best practice in the governance, management and administration of a football club.
Club Mark Entry Level
In September 2022, we were awarded FAI Club Mark Entry Level. The accolade is given to clubs based on best practice in their governance, management, and administration.
As part of the Entry Level achievement, we needed to reach certain criteria around ensuring all volunteers were both Garda vetted and had undergone safeguarding procedures.
We held a Clubmark presentation and celebrations on 6 October 2022. You can read about in on our Clubmark page.
Club Mark One Star
We progressed to FAI Cub Mark One Star in May 2023 to become an official FAI Player Development Centre. To achieve Club Mark Entry Level One Start we demonstrated:
- a high standard of coach education
- good coaching structures
- a player development and coaching pathway
- achieved the standards set by our Player Development Working Group
- have an ongoing relationship with a FAI Coaching Mentor
- have high standards of governance, management, and administration.
We will continue our adherence to the above and continue to build our community.
